I hurt my elbow at work, but the firm keeps moving me to a job that involves heavy lifting and means that I end up going off sick. I have been trying to resolve this via company procedure for three years without any success. Do I have to keep going through company procedure or can I take them to a tribunal?

After 41 years with the same firm I have now been found medically unfit to do my job. Does the firm have an obligation to find me alternative work, and if they can’t find me a different job do I have a right to a redundancy payment?

I’ve worked at a garage for two years. Our holiday period runs from January to December. I’m entitled to 28 days’ holiday this year, but plan to leave at the end of April. How much holiday pay would my boss have to give me? He says he can take any holidays you’ve taken up to that point off your wages.

Can our employer take away our annual bonus? My manager says that all they need to do to change our contracts of employment is give people 90 days’ notice.

I had a nervous breakdown 12 months ago brought on by overworking. I have undergone psychiatric treatment and counselling, and haven’t worked since. I am still technically employed by the firm, and wondered whether I am entitled to holiday pay for the last two years?

I deliver cars for a firm, working as and when required. We can be driving for anything up to 10 hours at a time with no rest breaks – in fact we don’t get any benefits such as sick pay or holiday pay because we’re classed as casual labour. Is this right? We don’t have an employment contract.

My daughter was sacked from the supermarket where she worked for taking some vouchers. She didn’t realise that she shouldn’t have taken them. Is this a sackable offence?
