Areas of Law / Property

My deeds say that I have a right of way along a private road at the back of my house, and which I use occasionally to move my caravan. The new owners of the house next door repeatedly block the lane with building materials and cars, and having recently bought the lane say I can no longer use it. What’s your opinion?

If your title deeds say you’ve a right of way it’s most unlikely that a change of ownership of the road will have altered the position. You should show your title deeds to a solicitor, who will probably write to your neighbours setting out the position and threatening them with an injunction if they continue to deny you use of the road.
